I’m jumping the gun a little bit because I want to give my supporters a chance to get some crap on their calendars. I’m also skipping the usual personal check-in folderol. This is all just content scheduling and updates.
The Last May Early Access Feature
I’m finishing up my last Early Access Feature for May. It’s been delayed due to preparations for June and technical support. It’ll get posted this weekend. Stay tuned. Sorry about that.
New General Access Feature
Due to some timing issues, I am behind in moving Early Access Features to TheAngryGM.com front page for everyone to see. Tomorrow, Friday, May 29, I will post a new General Access Feature. That’ll bring everything into sync.
The Latest Slapchat
Last night, Wednesday, May 27, I hosted my regular, live update on the Slapdash Project for Frienemy-tier supporters who follow the Slapdash Roleplaying Game Engine Project. The recording is available to all such supporters on the Club Slapdash website right now. Topics included numberless numbers and spellcasting.
The June Schedule
New Early Access Article Every Wednesday for Supporters with Audio Readaloud
The Game Mastering Topic is How to Use Point-of-View Characters and Professional Voices in Narration. This is a continuation of the Stupid Narration Tricks series, but I’m not calling it that anymore.
The Adventure Building Topic is Planning a Map through Blockout and Pathing. This is a continuation of both the Lets Build a Pretty Good Dungeon and True Scenario Designery series, but I’m not calling them those anymore.
The Hacking Topic is going to be about an alternate way to handle searching, spotting, and investigating.
The fourth Feature is to be determined. It might be a certain thing about custom monster building, if that’s ready in time. It might be something else.
New General Access Feature Every Tuesday at TheAngryGM.com
Live Discord Events Every Monday at 8:30 PM ET for Supporters
I’ll be hosting my Mostly Monthly Live Chat on Monday, June 8 at 8:30 PM ET. The recording will be distributed to all supporters.
I will be hosting three Deep Dive events this month on Monday, June 1, Monday, June 18, and Monday, June 29. These basically like bonus articles in audio-video format. Recordings will be distributed to all Angrican-tier supporters. On June 1, I won’t be discussing skill challenges. On June 18, I will be continuing my discussion of mystery adventures by talking about investigation encounters. On June 29, I’ll be using the stuff I didn’t discuss about skill challenges to talk about building and running social interaction encounters.
I will be hosting the Project Slapdash Update on Monday, June 22 for all Frienemy-tier supporters. The recording will be distributed to Frienemy-tier supporters via Club Slapdash.
Live Readalouds on Discord on Fridays at 2:30 PM ET
You know those readaloud audio versions of my Early Access Features? I’m going to be recording those on Fridays. Supporters with Discord access are invited to hang out and listen when I do.
Slapdash Design Notes on Thursdays at Club Slapdash
Frienemy-tier supporters following the development of my super secret roleplaying game engine codenamed Project Slapdash, will find new previews and design notes at Club Slapdash on Thursdays as I gear up for the Slapdash Battle Arena Playtests later this summer.
The Angry Wilderness Thing
Finally, my first piece of real bonus content for Frienemy-tier supporters in far too long, is almost ready for primetime. It will be released on Thursday, June 18 and it will be a useful little tool for tracking and running wilderness encounters. While it is built with D&D in mind, it will be useful, or at least adaptable, for any fantasy adventure roleplaying game.
I intend to follow it with one or two other bits of bonus game content every month hereafter.

Quick question; will the blockout mapping feature ever make it to general access? I see it on early access, but it looks like it got skipped as a front page feature.
There is an error. Yes, that article will get moved to the front page two weeks after it is published for Early Access. I do not paywall my Feature Articles. Just Early Access.
