This is not the article you were expecting. Sorry. I need to do that update thing. Because a few things have come up in my life and I also kind of forgot to announce a couple of things.
First, I’m dealing with a new round of chronic health problems and treatments. I’ve been out of touch with a lot of people and cranky besides. So, I’m sorry if you’ve been trying to reach me or interact with me and I’ve been MIA. I am not in imminent danger of death or hospitalization, but it is really slowing me down and eating into my time. Thanks for your patience.
Second, I have family in town this week. So I will be even more incommunicado until Tuesday, October 22.
Third, this week’s article will be delayed until next week because of the above two things. There’ll be a new article on Wednesday, October 23. And there will be another new article following that on Monday, October 28. That’s why you’re not reading an article today. There will also be a article on Wednesday, October 30 as normal.
Fourth, for Angry Patrons, I will be doing my Angry Monthly Live Chat on Discord on Thursday, October 24. If there are any topics you want me to address, send me a private message on Discord.
Fifth, I will be at Gamehole Con in Madison, WI from Thursday, October 31 through Sunday, November 3. Shout out if you’re going to be there. I am running two seminars at the convention but I haven’t had time to put together any gaming events. Sorry. It’s been a hectic period. I’ll be running The Angry GM’s GMing Boot Camp for people who have never run games before and want to start and I’ll be running The Angry GM’s 10 Words You Can’t Say in Gaming for more experienced GMs which is not taking crappy GMing advice from asshole internet gaming bloggers. And yes, I am very much aware of the hypocrisy. Thank you.

Oof, family and health problems? I hope it all clears up in time. And that you have a fun time at your con, and maybe help shape a new generation of GMs (and refine the current one) that isn’t objectively wrong on things it could easily be right on.
