April 2022 Angry Update

April 7, 2022

Happy April from miserable Wisconsin.

Look, I love it here. It’s a great place to live. But the f$&%ing weather is killing me. On top of a lot of other stuff.

This is one of those updates where I don’t really feel like I’ve got anything interesting to say. It’s just going to be a month of making content. And while I know there’s questions about ongoing projects – like the Tension Pool Kickstarter, AngryCraft, and the Theme Pack – I don’t feel comfortable answering about them today. I’ll have some answers soon. But there’s been a lot of changes to my work situation and a lot up in the air and I’m not sure just now how my workflow is going to shake out.

So, anyway, here’s the content calendar and let’s say I promise a supplemental update in two weeks? Sound good. Great.

Angry Goes International!

Actually, there’s one thing I’ve got to address. The European contingent of the Angrican Church has been getting increasingly uppity lately about me scheduling all of my Live Chats when it’s convenient for me and the two thirds of my audience that chose to be born in the greatest country on Earth. And while I’ve been responding in typical American fashion with sarcasm and upraised middle fingers, my doctor’s concerned about my blood pressure and my therapist is concerned about my being who I am. So we’ve all agreed — well, they agreed — that I should try to show a little more openness and understanding and a little less being an a$&hole — yes, apparently, that’s what my therapist calls me in his files — and so, in the interest of fostering international cooperation and unity and not having a stroke…

Look, I’m doing an extra Live Chat this month purposely scheduled as best I could to fall in the after-dinner hours in Europe. It’ll be on Wednesday April 20 at 19:00 UTC. Of course, given I have no idea what 19:00 UTC actually f$&%ing means, the chances are pretty high that I’ll show up at least two hours late. Or early. Or the day before. Or the summer. Or clockwise instead of counterclockwise.

Sometimes, I wish the Flat Earthers had it right. Because this “living on a sphere” thing is bulls$&%.

Anyway, I’m not doing the same Live Chat twice. It’ll be two completely different extemporaneous, off-the-cuff Live Chats where I babble for a half hour and then babble the answers to questions for another half hour. And I’m not going to speaking Esperanto or anything. So you don’t have to be European to hang out. Everyone’s welcome. Both will be recorded and shared on Patreon as normal.

If you’d like to propose a topic for either Live Chat, post it in the comments to this post on Patreon. And I guess you should specify which Live Chat you plan on listening to.
