Hey guys…
I know it’s been a little quiet since my last update last week. I want to check in to keep the lines of communication open.
First, there is new content coming in the next few days. I’m still catching up and it’s going to be a busy weekend, but there will be new stuff to read as promised. Front Page content and Early Access content.
Second, unfortunately, I am making the difficult choice to reschedule the Slapchat. I want to be able to finalize the Slapdash Skirmish Playtest plan and announce that and I am still working out some of the finer points.
To that end, I’m going to schedule the Slapchat for Wednesday, September 9 at 7:00 PM ET. I’m actually planning to host the September Mostly Monthly Live Chat for next Wednesday, September 2 at 7:00 PM ET, and then two Deep Dive Live Events/Recordings for Wednesday, September 16 and Wednesday, September 23.
Third, I’ve become aware of a technical issue with the Angry Games shop that has prevented a number of you from purchasing physical copies of my book. I’ve actually been troubleshooting the issue, which involves a disconnect between the storefront’s hosting service, the payment processor, and the United States postal service. Unfortunately, it appears to have been an issue for several weeks and it’s cost me a number of sales before someone e-mailed me to find out why they couldn’t make the purchase. Once that’s fixed, I’ll let you all know, but it’s chewing up a bit of time.
Finally, I am unfortunately dealing with an ongoing health issue which is making things extremely challenging. I’m dealing with extreme fatigue and a lack of mental focus. I have some leads on treating the issue, but there have been some changes with my medical care provider that have left me in a bit of limbo. Thus, I appreciate your continued patience. I know you’ve been more than understanding. But I’m still alive. Things actually are improving. The improvement is just so danged slow. It’s frustrating as hell and I wouldn’t be getting there without all of you, my readers and supporters.
Thank you everyone.
