I’ve had this niggling little feeling that something is wrong in Mudville for quite a while now. But I figured it was a little thing. A little head cold. Or a stomach bug. It was always there; there were always a few sick people, but the population was mostly healthy. But then — THEN — I started talking to my secret cabal about a secret project and I discovered just how widespread the problem was. It wasn’t a cold, it wasn’t a stomach bug, it was Pandemic, spreading across the board, shiny little plastic cubes from Shanghai to Santiago, from Taipei to Toronto. The score is two to four. There’s only one inning left. And Cooney and Barrows both got tagged out at first base. DOOM!
